Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, CUAMM is currently working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.

REQUIREMENTS
- Master in Public Health or related fields, with a focus on the humanitarian field
- At least 2 years’ experience in the area of M&E, reporting and grants management within an NGO
- Good knowledge on quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience working in emergency contexts. Knowledge of South Sudan will be considered as an asset
- Excellent English and Italian writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and diplomatic skills
- Very high attention to detail
- Cultural and political sensitivity
- Flexibility and capacity to adapt to a fluid situation
- Team building attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to take initiative and work independently
- Willingness to travel frequently
KEY DUTIES
The Program Manager will provide technical support to capture program intervention results, ensure high-quality, timely, valid and verifiable data collection and analysis, and involve the stakeholders in disseminating project results and good practices. The candidate shall be responsible for the knowledge management aspect of the projects and she/he will support Project Managers on narrative and data reporting according to donor’s rules. The specific tasks of the Program Manager will be:
- oversee the development of concept notes and project proposals, giving donor-specific advice to the programme staff
- ensure timely communication with the donors on any anticipated or unanticipated changes during the lifetime of a project
- at times - if required - represent the NGO at donor, cluster and govt. coordination meetings
- actively seek new funding opportunities, to respond to emerging needs and/or to expand the organization's activities
- support the proper use of Monitoring and Evaluation Systems to be implemented in program monitoring, evaluation, reporting, learning and decision making and strategies and tools for tracking project outputs and outcomes
- working with project partners, develop harmonized reporting and track progress
- provide technical support to staff regarding monitoring, evaluation, and learning requirements, including data collection and reporting
- perform routine data quality audits and contribute to the development of reports and informational materials for donors and stakeholders
- edit periodic donor reports, ensuring they are accurate and timely submitted
- provide regular feedback to team on program achievements compared to the set targets
- improve the storage and dissemination of information within the programme
- ensure version control of documents and filing of final reports and proposals
- support the PMs in gathering and documenting case studies
