HR intern will provide support to RHR in a number of ongoing HR activities and initiatives.
Scope of work:
· Regular update and maintenance of HR Network Teamsite on SharePoint.
· Coordinate and finalize the Consultants Roster in UNICEF Talent Management (TMS) by liaising with DHR and Country Offices in EAPR.
· Provide support to the Regional Rapid Response Roster (RRRM), creating online forms in the new Talent Management System, developing online clearance work process, and liaising with DHR and staff in RRRM. Update tool kit and information for RRRM in SharePoint (Teamsite)
· Support RHR in initiatives pertaining to performance management, Regional Diversity Strategy, learning and development, and capacity building.
End Product(s):
Up to date information in HR Network Teamsite. Consultants Roster in TMS. RRRM in TMS with forms and clearance processes. Orientation and tool kits for staff in RRRM. Diversity outreach Strategy research/study for countries in EAP
Estimated Duration:
The internship will be for a period of 3-6 months.

Qualifications or Specialized Knowledge/Experience Required:
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme in a undergraduate or graduate school, preferable in Human resources management and/or HR Systems (Applicants enrolled in a undergraduate school must have completed at least two years of full-time studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of an undergraduate degree)
- Have good academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records
Knowledge in ICT applications and data management is required.
Knowledge in Advanced Excel is an advantage
Additional consideration will be given for any past work experience.
Language proficiency requirements: Fluent in English
Able to adapt and work in a multicultural setting

Conditions of Intern:
a) Expenses: Intern does not receive any financial assistance. Costs and arrangements for travel, visa, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibilities of the Intern.
b) Visa: Intern is responsible for obtaining the necessary entry visa and arranging their travel to Bangkok. UNICEF/EAPRO will assist only in issuing documents required in visa processing.
c) Health/Medical insurance: Intern is required to hold valid health/accident insurance. UNICEF accepts no responsibilities for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during the internship whether on or off UNICEF premises.
d) Employment: There is no expectancy of employment at the end of the internship.
Provision of Supervising and Monitoring:
Close supervision with giving out instructions and guidance in the beginning, but the intern will also have the opportunity to work independently with regular and periodical follow-ups by the supervisor on the progress and quality of the deliverables.
