Period: 6 months

Starting Date: 1^st February 2017

Reporting to: South Sudan Country Representative

Specific duties:

· Assist the Country Representative in daily/weekly work plan

· Collaborate with the Country Representative, Project Managers and sector specialists in writing the activity reports

· Participate in the design of future new project(s)

· Participate at the national cluster coordination meetings (Clusters, Working Groups) and share with the supervisors the main points of the discussions

· Communicate effectively AVSI’s identity, mission, vision values and its approach in order to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear

· Keep good relations with local implementing actors, local authorities and other international and local stakeholders

· Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Country Representative

Essential Requirement:

· Degree, preferably in Social Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health; Master in Humanitarian Studies or International Cooperation.

· Previous experience in humanitarian context it will be an asset

· Experience in nutrition, food security and education area will be an added value

· Computer skills / Microsoft Office

· Excellent knowledge of English language

· Knowledge of Italian Language

· Ability to work in a team and independently
