Program Manager for FSL, WASH and Nutrition Project

Role Purpose:
The program Manager will be based in Aweil East overseeing market based emergency livelihoods Cash transfer programming including agricultural kits support. Drafted and disseminating a CTP response best practices and guidelines applicable to the humanitarian actors in the context of South Sudan. Work closely with all CTP stakeholders (communities, authorities, and private sector service providers, relevant ministries, NGOs and UN agencies) to provide an effective, timely and strategic collective response to the changing situation, and help articulate the response strategy for CTP Programming development and quality as an integral component of the humanitarian response in South Sudan. Food security and livelihoods, water supply, sanitation and hygiene promotion and emergency Nutrition programs in North Bahr el Ghazal. In addition to directly managing Dutch funded Joint Response program and other Nutrition, FSL and WASH related grants in these areas, the Program Manager will be expected to lead on programme planning, implementation, master budgeting, recruitment and procurements. The Program Manager will also and supports the food security and livelihoods, CTP, emergency Nutrition and WASH technical specialist on programme design, proposal writing, coordination and capacity building and closely will work with MEAL/Nutrition/FSL/WASH technical specialists and assessment, monitoring and evaluation activities. The post holder will be expected to mentor and guide existing national programme and operations staff.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- At least 5 years of senior management experience in emergency program management FSL, emergency nutrition and WASH program, fragile state or development programmes
- At least two years of FSL and WASH Program Management experiences in South Sudan
- Previous experience of managing an FSL team at national level.
- commitment to working through systems off community participation and accountability
- Proven capacity to supervise and coach staff in FSL, emergency nutrition and WASH technical skills
- Ability to write clear and well-argued assessment and project reports
- Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities and patience, tact and diplomacy
- A high level of written and spoken English
Desirable
- Specific experience of designing and managing Dutch MoFA, USAID, DFID, ECHO, OFDA and other major donor projects
- Specific experience working in consortia projects
