ABOUT THE JUMP! FOUNDATION
We are a passionate team of 30, JUMP!ing across countries, fueled by our belief in the power of youth empowerment, running experiential programs in schools, on mountains, and in slums. The JUMP! Foundation is a non-profit social enterprise that uses experiential education to advance a world in which individuals, community leaders, and global citizens realize their passions and potential.
ABOUT THE POSITION
You will be asked to take on new things with little guidance. You’ll have to figure out challenges, often on your own, and fail more often than succeed. Your focus should be on creating tons of cool product that can help JUMP! convey and create value for all our partners, and be open to editing those designs to deliver a product that represents the whole of JUMP!. You will always be supported by an amazing group of individuals from around the world, and they need to see designs and product in action; intangible ideas won’t work.
RESPONSIBLITIES
The Marketing & Communications Manager will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
JUMP! for the outside world
- JUMP!’s social media output; strategy and publishing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog, Website, and other outlets as agreed with JUMP!
- Organizing and sharing updates across JUMP! verticals and programs, from J!Development, J!Schools, J!Experiences, and J!Corporate
- Organizing JUMP’s various media content
- Website maintenance, design, & improvement
- Enabling people to understand our impact by developing annual reports
JUMP! backstage
- Designing modular documents routinely used by JUMP!ers eg Sketches, End of Program Reports, Program Flows, etc
- Building a platform for the J!Story with regular updates for team
- Fixing the wiki
- Identifying JUMP!’s audience and how to most effectively captivate them
- Helping to identify and implement effective media management tools
- Evaluating, developing, and implementing new processes to enhance JUMP!’s marketing strategy
ELIGIBILITY
- Have at least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- Have a background in design thinking, and systems design
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign, & Wordpress
IDEAL QUALITIES
- Creative and product oriented
- Proficient in English
- Strong organizational skills
- Out of the box thinking
- Eager to understand facilitation and to work with students
REPORTS TO: Director of Finance & Operations
COMPENSATION: Salary & Compensation will be commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
